During Ramadan, Saudi Arabia's free 911 Hotline got 2,479,801 calls
During the holy month of Ramadan in the year 1444 AH, the National Centre for Security Operations free 911 in Riyadh, Makkah, Al-Sharqiyah, and other localities hotline got 2,479,801 calls.
The free 911 got 1,002,474 calls from the Riyadh region, 987,470 from Makkah, and 489,470 from Al-Sharqiyah. The remainder of the calls came from different areas.
It is important to highlight that accepting calls is one of the responsibilities of 911, which transfers calls to the appropriate security and service agencies based on specialisation.
All of these procedures are carried out by the 911 utilising an automated and sophisticated system, which enables the calls to be handled round-the-clock with great precision and professionalism by specialised cadres who are multilingual.
