Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency Urges Intending Pilgrims to Make Initial Hajj Deposit Before November 14, 2025
PRESS RELEASE
The Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, today, 23 October 2025, has called on all intending pilgrims from Kaduna State who wish to perform the 2026 Hajj to make an initial deposit of a minimum of two million Naira (₦2,000,000) on or before 14th November 2025.
Malam Salihu emphasized that the deposit is mandatory and serves as a preparatory step pending the official announcement of the final Hajj fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He noted that this early deposit will assist the agency in making adequate arrangements and ensure seamless coordination with both national and Saudi Arabian Hajj authorities.
He warned that any intending pilgrim who fails to pay the minimum deposit by the stipulated deadline may not be considered for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
In addition, the chairman announced that the deadline for the payment of the complete Hajj fare will be 31st December 2025.
He urged all intending pilgrims to take advantage of the current window to plan and make payments in good time.
This directive is part of the agency's preparations in line with guidelines from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and requirements from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for early Hajj planning and Masha'ir processing.
Malam Salihu S. Abubakar reiterated the agency’s commitment to ensuring a smooth, timely, and successful Hajj operation and called on religious leaders, community heads, and other stakeholders to help sensitize prospective pilgrims across the state.
